Add a camera to a YESKAMO NVR kit
Pair a camera to a YESKAMO wireless NVR kit, add an extra add-on camera to an existing system, and find the NVR user manual.
YESKAMO wireless NVR kits ship pre-paired — the cameras and the recorder already know each other out of the box. You only need to pair manually when you add an extra add-on camera or replace one. This guide covers both, plus where to find the right manual.
Tested with the YESKAMO app v4.9.7 (June 2026) alongside a wireless NVR with monitor. Menu names vary by NVR model and firmware.
First-time kit setup
- Connect the NVR to its monitor and power, and power each camera near the recorder for the first boot.
- Let the system finish its startup wizard (language, time zone, password). The pre-paired cameras should appear on screen within a minute.
- To view the kit on your phone, open the YESKAMO app, tap +, and add the NVR by Scan to add (QR) using the QR code on the recorder, or by Add manually with its Cloud ID and password (default user admin).
Add an add-on camera to an existing kit
- Power the new camera within a few feet of the NVR for pairing.
- On the NVR menu, open Settings → Channel / Camera → Add / Match Code (also labeled Pair, Code Match, or Auto Add depending on model).
- Press Match Code on the NVR, then the pairing/reset button on the camera if prompted. Wait for the channel to show live video.
- Once paired, move the camera to its final location and confirm signal — see Connect a camera to Wi-Fi for signal tips, since add-on cameras use the NVR's wireless link.
Add-on cameras must match the kit's wireless system and frequency. A camera bought for a different brand or kit usually won't pair.
Replacing or re-pairing a camera
Delete the old channel first (Settings → Channel → Delete), then run Match Code again so the NVR assigns a clean channel.
