YESKAMO Camera Offline or Connection Failed

Fix a YESKAMO camera that shows offline or "connection failed" — power, network, and re-pairing steps that actually work.

An offline badge, a spinning live view, or a "connection failed" message all point to the same thing: the app can't reach the camera right now. The fix is usually power or network. Work through these steps in order.

Tested with the YESKAMO app v4.9.7 (June 2026).

1. Check power and the camera itself

  1. Confirm the camera has power — a steady indicator LED, or for battery/solar models, a charge above ~20%.
  2. Reboot the camera: unplug for 10 seconds and plug back in, or use the power switch on battery models. Give it 1–2 minutes to reconnect.
  3. Look for a status light pattern in your manual — a blinking red/blue light often means it's searching for Wi-Fi.

2. Check the network

  1. Make sure your router and internet are up (test another device).
  2. YESKAMO cameras need 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, not 5 GHz. If your router broadcasts one combined name, temporarily separate the bands or move closer to the router.
  3. Check signal strength — thick walls and distance cause dropouts. Move the camera closer to test.
  4. If you recently changed your Wi-Fi name or password, the camera still has the old credentials and must be re-paired (see below).

3. Restart the app and your phone

  1. Fully close the YESKAMO app and reopen it.
  2. Confirm the app has local network / Wi-Fi permission in your phone settings.
  3. Toggle your phone's Wi-Fi off and on, or restart the phone.

4. Re-pair the camera

If it's still offline, remove and add it again:

  1. In the app, open the camera → Settings → Delete / Remove Device.
  2. Factory reset the camera with its reset button — see reset and firmware.
  3. Add it back: tap +, choose Scan to add (QR), Camera hotspot add, or Add manually (Cloud ID + device password, default user admin). Keep your phone on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi during setup.

5. NVR kits

For wireless NVR kits, check the camera-to-NVR pairing on the monitor, not just the app. Re-match cameras to the NVR from its on-screen menu if one channel is black.

Still failing?

Some older cameras use the EseeCloud app — check your manual. If the camera never comes online after a reset and firmware update, contact the developer at [email protected] (app) or [email protected] (hardware).
