YESKAMO warranty registration & privacy

This guide covers two things people ask about a free camera app: how to register your hardware warranty, and what happens to your video and data. yeskamo.net is independent, so warranty claims are always handled by YESKAMO directly.

Register your warranty

YESKAMO hardware (NVR kits, battery, solar, PTZ, floodlight and PoE cameras) ships with a manufacturer warranty. To register and keep proof:

1. Keep your order confirmation or Amazon invoice — it is your proof of purchase and the start date of the warranty.
2. Find the model and serial number on the device label or NVR box.
3. Contact the brand at [email protected] or use yeskamo.com/support-center to register and ask about coverage length.
4. Save the email reply; you will need it if you request a replacement part.

Where your footage is stored

The YESKAMO app gives you local-first storage, which is the most private option:

• SD card — recordings stay on the camera's microSD card.
• NVR hard drive — kits record continuously to the NVR's local disk.
• Optional cloud — only if you buy an in-app cloud storage or AI alert plan does video go to YESKAMO's cloud servers.

Live viewing, playback, snapshots, video sharing and video backup work from this local storage; nothing is forced into the cloud.

Privacy and the App Store disclosures

Before installing, you can read the App Privacy section on the App Store listing and the Data safety section on Google Play. These show what categories of data the developer collects and whether data is linked to you.

Protect your own privacy

• Set a strong, unique device password (see login & password).
• Only enable a cloud plan if you actually need off-site backup.
• Position cameras to avoid neighbours' property, and check your local laws on recording audio.
